John Cena opens the show with an in-ring promo, acknowledging the crowd response saying he’s missed it. Cena puts over the show’s matches and hypes up the crowd, then says it brings him back to the question of why he’s there. A loud Undertaker chant breaks out, and Cena says it sounds like people have been speculating about his status, and that he’s going to Hollywood and washed up, but he’s not going anywhere. Cena ends it by saying if they think he can’t do that, he just did, because he’s John Cena.
WWE Tag Team Championship (Four Corners Elimination)
The Wyatt Family (c) vs Heath Slater & Rhyno vs American Alpha vs The Usos:
Jordan gets caught up with Bray on the floor, but Orton catches him with a hangman’s DDT then calls for a RKO. Gable tries to come back in and Orton goes after him in the corner, and Harper tries to assist. Orton inadvertently elbows Harper after slipping during the exchange, and American Alpha hits Grand Amplitude for the win.
Result: NEW WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions – American Alpha
Smackdown Women’s Championship
Alexa Bliss (c) vs Becky Lynch:
La Luchadora distracts Becky as Alexa complains about an elbow injury, then La Luchadora sends Becky into the turnbuckles and Alexa connects with a snap DDT to retain.
Result: Alexa Bliss def. Becky Lynch
WWE World Championship
AJ Styles (c) vs Dolph Ziggler vs Baron Corbin:
Corbin hits Ziggler with End of Days and Styles leaps back in and surprises him with a Phenomenal Forearm for the win.
Result: AJ Styles def. Ziggler & Corbin
